Matthew joined McGillivary Steele Elkin LLP in August 2016. He represents unions and employees in a variety of cases and provides general legal advice on labor relations and employment issues.
Before joining the firm, Matthew worked as a law clerk at the Employment Law Group, P.C. representing employees in employment discrimination and whistleblower cases, including cases filed under the Whistleblower Protection Act and the False Claims Act.
Matthew graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2016. While at Georgetown, Matthew served as a Senior Staff member on the Georgetown International Environmental Law Review. He obtained a Master’s degree in Public Affairs Journalism from American University in 2005. He graduated from Trinity College in 2001, with a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies.
